MarVista Entertainment acquires dozens of programs from independent producers and production companies from around the world each year. MarVista has built a solid reputation for being a “producer-friendly” distributor and welcomes collaboration with its growing list of independent producers at all levels from pre-production through distribution. A leading provider of episodic series, non-fiction and lifestyle series, animation, and family friendly content, MarVista has established strong relationships with leading US broadcasters such as ABC Family, Disney Channel, Lifetime, Hallmark, SyFy Channel, Nickelodeon, and Starz Entertainment amongst others. Internationally, MarVista maximizes revenue utilizing key relationships with theatrical, television, and home video buyers in each territory, with programs distributed by MarVista seen on top-rated channels in over 100 countries around the globe. MarVista Entertainment handles worldwide rights with the Television sales arena being the most prominent so we are looking for features that have a broad domestic and international television appeal. Although many of the films we distribute are released theatrically, we are not a theatrical releasing company due to our focus on the worldwide television, DVD, and VOD/Digital Rights sales. We will review all types of genre of films with our emphasis being thrillers, sci-fi/disaster, family movies, romantic comedies and Lifetime type films. Due to the cyclical nature of sales in the supernatural and horror genres, we normally do not acquire these type of films.

How to Submit Your Film or Series

For completed series or features, please send a sample of episodes or a DVD of the film along with a presskit including the budget, format shot on (i.e. 35mm), notable cast and crew, synopsis, and what rights are available. Please note we do not return submitted materials.
