Home for the holidays after earning her nursing degree, Joy Fickett (Katherine Barrell) is already feeling the need to seek out new experiences. Accepting a fellowship in Wisconsin, Joy is eager to get more practice in her field and give back to the community. But what she didn't expect was to find a spark with Eric Fellman (Alberto Frezza), a charming aspiring writer who’s also joined the fellowship. As the two bond and practice their crafts, they begin to wonder if they were brought together by coincidence, or if fate had other plans in mind for Christmas.
