A family on the brink of divorce, head out for a family getaway to their luxurious cabin in the woods over the Christmas holiday. When a blizzard traps them in the cabin, their arguments and bickering escalate. As the tension grows from bad to worse, there's a knock on the door-another family has been stranded by the storm and is in need of shelter. It's clear that the new arrivals are a perfect example of how a loving family should act towards each other: the husband and wife respect each other and the siblings actually enjoy one another's company-two things that the family hosting know nothing about. These guests just might be the Christmas miracle to save the family from their worst Christmas ever.
