Recently widowed Helen Hazelton hires Norwegian soccer player Oddmund to work as a nanny for her two sons. Oddmund dispenses discipline, helps them stand up to the school bully, and brings much-needed laughter into the house. He even shares his love of soccer with the small Kansas town. But after some misunderstandings with the law, Oddmund decides to go back home. Will Helen be able to convince him that he belongs with her family?
